Alpenglow on An Teallach
Description
Photographing An Teallach in winter conditions has been a long held ambition of mine and I was finally able to make it a reality in February 2024. It was a very cold and completely still night in my tent near the top of the mountain - the eerie silence and anticipation for what the morning might bring meant that sleep eluded me. I was well rewarded with crystal clear air and the beautiful pre-dawn alpenglow provided the perfect lighting conditions. Needless to say the experience surpassed my long held expectations.
